Free tutorial libraries (start here)
- Flower Moxie, Learn. The best DIY-wedding tutorial set on the web, organized by piece: bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages, centerpieces, ceremony and installations, crowns and cake flowers, Flower Care 101. They sell flowers, so the recipes point at their products; the technique is sound regardless.
- Floral Design Institute video library. Hundreds of short professional demonstrations. Search "hand tied," "compote," "garden style," "boutonniere," "wiring."
- Team Flower Education. Professional-florist articles and videos; the foam-free arbor and living meadow pieces are the course's Module 6 references. Some content needs a free account.
- Floret Flowers blog. The farmer-florist's view: harvest stage, post-harvest handling, variety choice. Erin Benzakein's dahlia, hydrangea and grasses posts are directly relevant.
- FiftyFlowers wedding blog and flower care blog: quantity checklists and care guides from a bulk seller.
- FloraLife care and handling library: crop-by-crop professional processing sheets (search "garden roses," "hydrangea," "dahlia").
- Thursd: trade magazine with good foam-free and mechanics articles.

Books

- Floret Farm's A Year in Flowers, Erin Benzakein. Seasonal arranging with the farmer's eye on conditioning and vase life; foam-free throughout.
- The Flower Workshop and Seasonal Flower Arranging, Ariella Chezar. The garden-style aesthetic your plan is reaching for, with recipes.
- Cultivated: The Elements of Floral Style, Christin Geall. Design principles, color and composition for the organic style; beautifully argued.
- Flower Color Theory, Darroch and Michael Putnam. Color combinations by palette; useful for the analogous green-cream-mauve scheme.
- The Flower Recipe Book, Alethea Harampolis and Jill Rizzo. Literal recipes per arrangement; good for learning to write your own.
Paid courses (optional)
- Nectar & Bloom, Wedding & Event Floral Design: a well-regarded paid course covering lush bouquets, wearables, foam-free centerpieces and urns, a foam-free arch and production. Listed as sold out at time of writing; check for reopening.
- Flower Duet, DIY Wedding Flowers Workshop: hand-tied bouquet and ceremony spray/arch attachment tutorials, DIY-oriented.
- Floral Design Institute online courses, including a wedding "flowers to wear" workshop with wiring and taping.
- Team Flower online workshops: professional-level production and design.
- Skillshare and Domestika carry several floral-design classes; search "garden style arrangement" and "wedding florals" and preview before buying.
- Many local flower farms and studios run one-day wedding-flower workshops in spring and summer; one afternoon with a real florist watching you spiral a bouquet is worth a dozen videos. Search "wedding flower workshop Massachusetts" in early 2027.
